The water vapor passing through the backplane makes the inferior EVA resin decompose quickly and precipitate acetic acid, which leads to the electrochemical corrosion inside the module and increases the probability of PID attenuation and snail pattern. It is especially suitable for seaside, water edge and high humidity areas of photovoltaic power stations.

Its weather resistance and corrosion resistance are more than any known plastic.
